I'm more than just your photographer. Think of me as your elopement guide, hiking partner, cheerleader, and even your pack mule. Few things make my heart happier than watching two people joining their lives together in nature and having the chance to witness the first day of their marriage.
Some marriages begin quietly on the side of a mountain, and some begin with twinkle lights and a few great friends. No matter how yours begins, it's the start of life's biggest adventure. I would be honored to help preserve the very first moments of your journey together.
Dogs
My dogs, your dogs, the dog I saw while I was driving here. It doesn't matter. I will talk as long as you'll let me about these perfect creatures. As far as I'm concerned, every dog is a good boy, and I will point them out at almost any chance I get. If you're not into it, maybe just close this tab. Just kidding. Kind of.
Shows You need to Watch
Parks, The Office, Shitt's Creek, and Portlandia are 90% of my joke material.
"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"
-Wayne Gretzky
-Michael Scott
-Kiley Harmon
YOGI
Photographing elopements is my full time gig, but I'm also a yoga teacher! Having a meditative, hot practice keeps me cool-headed and up for most any challenge!
Podcasts
Many, many, of my thoughts start with "I was listening to a podcast and..." I love the short-form format of a podcast, and I love that it's available to consume anywhere. Whether I'm in the shower, in the car, or working at my desk, I'm always listening and learning. A few favorites include Serial (obviously), Office Ladies, Unladylike, and This American Life.
Tucson
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I adore this artsy little city. Tucson gets a bad rap amongst people who haven't spent much time here, but I think it's one of my favorite places in the world. Whether you want to spend a summer day on Mount Lemmon, go to a craft brewery down town, or find your community of people who just "get" you Tucson is full of unexpected beauty. If you've never been, come visit!

People Come first
Your wedding day is about you and your partner. While we work together, my goal isn't to create images for my portfolio. It's to create images YOU love that YOU will cherish for a lifetime. When you're working with me, know that your needs as people come first.
All love is welcome
Around here, all love is welcome, cherished, and celebrated. My number one priority on your wedding day is to make you feel seen, safe, and completely free to display your love in a way that is authentic to your relationship. From hair and makeup to florals, if I've recommended a vendor or hired a second shooter, rest-assured that each of them stands with you and enthusiastically supports your wedding day.
Leave no trace
We're the kind of people who leave places better than we found them. As a certified "Leave No Trace Aware Photographer," I'm always looking out for ways to do better and be better in the outdoors. This land is precious to all of us, and I believe with my whole heart that it's up to us to preserve it so that you can re-visit the place you said your vows for decades to come.
Be Kind
It's so simple, but we don't see enough of it! Kindness guides every decision I make in my personal life and business. If kindness is an option, that's the only option. Kindness means being a good ally to marginalized groups. It means donating to causes that need monetary support. It means respecting our planet, and it means being kind to animals. A mantra of mine is "be gentle, be loving, be kind--especially to yourself."
You deserve this
Seriously. You deserve to have the wedding day of YOUR dreams. This is your anniversary for the rest of your lives, and it just doesn't make sense to compromise on those memories. It's okay if some people aren't stoked on you and your partner eloping. That will pass, and at the end of the day, you'll have had a wedding day that was genuine, free from judgement, and a ton of fun. YOU. DESERVE. THIS.
