Their dogs, one witness, an officiant, and each other– that’s all Katy and Charlie needed for their perfect Mount Lemmon Elopement. They chose the most breathtaking time of year for their Mount Lemmon elopement. As we walked to the wooded clearing where the ceremony would be held, leaves fell around us, and their two dogs blazed the path ahead. It was a chilly day, but Katy was never cold in her gown.

Together, the five of us prepared the ceremony site while the dogs played in the background. Once everything was ready, the ceremony began. Katy and Charlie chose their best friend to perform the wedding, and their shared friendship was apparent. There were private jokes, sweet memories, and perfect vows, and When they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, their dogs, who had been playing throughout the ceremony, ran to them, as though they were totally in-the-know about what just happened– Their humans were married!!

It was such an honor to witness this joyful and intimate elopement. Congratulations, Katy and Charlie! I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you two! May it be filled with many more adventures!
