A lot has changed since my sister and I were here this January. If you haven’t seen Sabino Canyon at the peak of spring, you haven’t seen Tucson. Wildflowers are blooming the mountains are green, and the river is full.  This is what I love most about the desert– It is gorgeous in the most unexpected and wonderful ways. In the winter, You can see snow-covered peaks of the Catalinas while standing in the shadow of a 20-foot Saguaro. The quintessential signs of the desert are everywhere, but on days like this one, it is teeming with life.
