When we headed out for our first backpack trip, we were NOT expecting snow. The weather said there was a 0% chance of rain, but quite apparently, we did not consider the chance of snow. Luckily, the storm blew out by nightfall, and we enjoyed the brink of spring by the fire with two dogs by our side.
